In North Pembrokeshire you will find something for all tastes all
year round. The clean, sandy beaches of Whitesands and Newgale are
the ideal place to relax, or the more adventurous can try their
hands at surfing, kayaking or coasteering.

Just off the coast is Ramsey Island, a bird sanctuary managed by
the RSPB. Porpoises and seals can frequently be seen from the coastal
path, and a number of local companies offer boat trips both around
and landing on the island.

Pembrokeshire is home to a number of
artists whose work can be admired (and purchased) in a number of
galleries and studios.
The Old Cross Hotel is owned and run by Alex and Julie Babis. We
are located in the centre of St Davids, the smallest city in Wales
(and indeed the UK!) in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National
Park, close to the Cathedral and a short walk from the Coastal
Path, which winds its way along the cliffs and around the coves
of the Pembrokeshire coastline from Poppit Sands in the north of
the county to Amroth in the south.
